© Meon Valley Soaring Association (BMFA affiliated club no. 2134)

Useful material including club documents can be found here.

The club is affiliated to the BMFA (club 2134) which all club members must join.

We have a Yahoo group which provides notification of news as well as allowing members to communicate.

We can be found on Facebook.

We also have a public forum.

Informal meetings are held at 8pm on the second Wednesday of every month at the George and Falcon on the A32 at ‘Warnford’ (Except for July and August when we prefer to fly).

The club meetings are the best way of keeping up to date with the latest activities, asking other members for advice or just meeting fellow modellers for a drink and a chat.

The main slope site is Butser Hill on the South Downs.

The club has two further slope sites at HMS Mercury and Harting Down. Club members also enjoy a reciprocal arrangement with CADMAC allowing us use of The Trundle.

We also have a flat field site near Soberton, for those who like to fly thermal soarers or electric models.

Membership costs for 2015 will remain as they did for 2014. Application form for 2015. The club currently has no limit on numbers but does have the right to refuse membership.

The Meon Valley Soaring Association (MVSA) is a model flying club consisting of about 120 members who fly radio controlled slope soarers of all types, ranging from small sport and aerobatic models to large scale models.

There is also a strong section involved in thermal flying and electric models at our flat field site.

The club has been in existence for over thirty years, and is based around Hampshire’s glorious Meon Valley. We welcome new members of all ages and skill levels.
